David Eckstein of the St Louis Cardinals
I’ve been watching a lot of baseball recently, mostly because it takes up 50% of the channels I get on my television, it is a great procrastinatory tool, and I’m somewhat of a baseball fan. Every time I watch the Cardinals play, I am impressed by David Eckstein. This guy is about the scrappiest player I’ve ever seen in the MLB. He’s short, small, but somehow always seems to come up with something when his team needs it. He hit a two out, two strike single to left field last night in the top of the ninth that led to a Pujol’s 3 run homer that boosted the Cardinals to a 5-4 win over the Astros. Just amazing.
