Good Night, and Good Luck (2005)

It’s interesting to note how the medium of television has, at least in my mind, a stigma of entertainment and not information. How I look down on television as a means for the mind to sit idly and not actively participate in any strenuous activity. Just look at the news shows of today, are they of informational value? Do they tackle the difficult issues? Or is it just that the controversial subjects of today are more thoroughly covered by a widespread sense of apathy? It’s an interesting discussion, I would wager to say that information is more highly protected now than it has ever been, using sophisticated means of technology to censor delicate subject matter. Good flick. IMDB: Good Night, and Good Luck (2005).
