Sub-titles won’t display in Mplayer (Windows)

Take a look at the output Mplayer spits when it starts up. Most likely it’s saying: ‘Cannot load font: c:/windows/fonts/arial.ttf’. You’re probably using Windows 2000 or NT, which uses the c:\WINNT\ folder for the windows stuff. Just make a the c:\windows\fonts\ folder and copy in the arial font from c:\WINNT\Fonts\ and your subs should work just fine.
