The Architect’s Brother

Got the chance to check out the traveling exhibit at the Sheldon Art Gallery called “The Architect’s Brother.” Now, this is the first time I’ve been into an art gallery in awhile, so I may not be an expert on critiquing what I saw. Nonetheless, I highly recommend that you guys check this exhibit out. A husband and wife team publish these works under the name Robert ParkeHarrison and all the works are non-digital photo manipulations (mixed media with prints and paint) that have a dream-like quality about them, all saying something (rather cleverly) about how we interact with nature. Going through the exhibit, I found myself releasing an introverted guffaw (if you will) at most of the pieces, impressed by the message and the delivery. Now if only I could find some enlarged prints for my walls.
