Car Dealers I Will Never Buy From
I don’t commute. I walk to work every morning because I don’t like traffic, even though Omaha traffic is pretty light comparable to other major cities. But when I do drive during the rush hours (or during my frequent jaunts to Lincoln), I’m probably not the safest driver. I don’t usually like to wait in line for long periods, and will probably take the fast lane until my exit gets closer than most people are comfortable merging with traffic into.
And I, like most drivers, put up with a lot of worthless driving out there. From people that don’t know where they’re going to people that don’t know that the slow traffic merges to the RIGHT. MERGE TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE!
But the other morning, I witnessed the most outrageous driving I have seen in a very long time. This particular White Jeep Commander definitely felt like he was Commander of the highway, making it a point to find the two cars driving closest bumper to bumper and attempt to squeeze in between these two autos. When he had completed his merge, he would then have no qualms about doing a full on hard tire screeching brake session, scaring the shit out of the driver he had just cut off. I witnessed this behavior at least 3 times in the short time this individual and I shared experiences as road buddies.
Normally I’d just let it go. But as I looked closer at this White Jeep Commander, I witnessed something particularly interesting. It was a DEALER CAR! This guy was representing a car dealership, which will probably turn around and resell the same car he was so recklessly abusing on the road that day. Considering my past relationship with shitty car dealers, I can’t help but post the name of this car dealer, in the hopes of protecting some poor soul from buying from a dealer that lets their cars be abused by their employees.
So, if you’ve made it this far, do not purchase an automobile from Baxter Automotive in Omaha, NE.
In the interest of full disclosure, the dealer that “handled” my raccoon ordeal was O’Daniel Honda.
