Hey JJ,
I watch too much football as it is, maybe if there were more hours in the day. The only contact that might have occurred that wasn’t Ronaldo’s doing was from the player behind him, not the player he lifted his leg into when he was already part-way into his dive.

I understand your wanting to defend the guy, he is a great player, and maybe he’s matured more this year. I just wish he played with a little more grit and class: like Man U’s Anderson or the way Rooney has been playing lately! I can give props to their playing styles.

Watch the video. There was NO CONTACT. Ronaldo goes down. The facts clearly presented are: Ronaldo dived. My argument is (and you can debate this point if you want): if you’re going to cheat, don’t do it when you’re up 3-1.

Personally, I wouldn’t vouch for someone when the video evidence clearly presents a contrary argument.

Second, Are they supposed to just stop scoring because they are ahead 3-1. No.

Wow, there are some really passionate kids out there that will defend Ronaldo despite the obvious video evidence presented.

Just to reiterate, Ronaldo is without a doubt the most talented footballer playing today. However, there are quite a few examples where he doesn’t play with honor.

Also, this is my space, so please don’t post useless profane language to it, because I’ll just delete it. Thanks!

I’m not arguing that he’s not “the best ever.”

I don’t know why this is so controversial an opinion. And I don’t know why I have to keep saying this — watch the video. If you’re disputing what you see in the video, say so.
