It’s interesting to see someone brainstorm how to create “an alternative to Twitter” on Twitter.
They are trying to create a straightforward copy of Twitter, with realistic goals and estimates.
However, after Mastodon I could never go back to something that is not federated.
On one hand, being part of the Fediverse is good for new services because it’s easy to move there. On the other hand, it’s also easy to move again later.
