Hi new people! I’m still new here too, but discoverability #feditip: Boost others a lot more on #mastodon. There is no #algorithm — YOU are the algorithm. If someone is posting cool things, boost it so others can see! Use hashtags a lot more on here. There is no full text search, only #hashtag search. That’s how your posts get discovered. No one can browse your favorites and favorites don't bump visibility. Use #bookmarks! Bookmark your own posts! You do get text search in bookmarks.
