Great case study from the Shopify performance team on recent work to make a site faster (and the impact to business metrics).
The fundamentals are strong with this one:
- Don't preload unnecessarily
- Serve render-blocking content from the origin (or as few as possible)
- Don't lazy-load your LCP content
