The tech job climate right now is rough. Spoke with a friend a couple of months back about it and they highlighted that not only do the layoffs affect people in work, but also people who were already looking. The ratio of candidates to open roles becomes even more disproportionate. Every time I see news about large layoffs happening this thought comes up again
