@andy I kinda think of islands as fancy lazy loading rather than a progressive enhancement thing. Just as an example, client-only components in an island might have a terrible progressive enhancement story.
Like when we used to use JS for image lazy loading and some of them put a JS dependency on the image—technically you could call that an “island”
