The size of the things we ship has an impact. Download time, upload time, website performance, traffic costs, battery usage, environmental impact, etc. etc.
@getkirby's app folder has 5.9 MB (1.8 MB zipped) and yes we are proud about that and we think about it a lot. It's an important feature for us to keep it as small as possible.
