This has received more attention than I expected.
To provide some additional context, GA4’s recommended code snippet for default installation is 85K in size.
Plausible Analytics is 1.7K.
The total JS, including GA4, is 89K. So GA4 was 94% of the JavaScript on our site before we removed it.
