It is the product of exploitative capitalist long-termers who will sell your *next* community as rapidly and disdainfully as they did your last one, because THEIR INTEREST IN COMMUNITY IS IN EXTRACTING ITS VALUE.
Fedi's hard, sure. And it's not any safer, agreed.
But at least it's not made to benefit the very people who screwed us LESS THAN SIX MONTHS AGO.
